I recently partnered with Livin’ Freely who gave me the great flannel shirt I am wearing in this video!
I was only supposed to do an Instagram post with their romper that I am wearing in this picture , but I also wanted to do something different.
So I decided to bring you 5 different ways you can style a flannel shirt, from a top, to dresses, to an accessory…
All just tied and styled different ways. It’s proof that you don’t always have to buy a million different outfits and that a versatile piece such as a flannel shirt is a great investment in your wardrobe.
Hope you’ll like it & let me know what you think below!
In case some of you didn’t already know, I recently relocated from Paris, France to Los Angeles, CA for personal reasons. If you want to know more, you can learn all about it here!
While I haven’t been here for long, I have made a few true friends and Desh is definitely one of them!! I felt so lucky that we all got to celebrate her 30th birthday in Palm Springs with great views, weather, food and most importantly: great people!!
Check out all our weekend shenanigans in the 2 vlogs above!
Also, please go check out her blog, Instagram account and Youtube channel, she’s such a sweetheart and she always puts out amazing content <3
Yes, you are reading correctly, I am back with yet another DIY haha
What can I say? I’m addicted to my sewing machine!
Recently, I had the opportunity of going to a WonderWoman event at YouTube Space here in Los Angeles with an interview of the director and a snippet of the movie. I admit: I was completely hooked!
They gave us large t-shirts in our goodie bags and since I was tired of getting yet another pajama shirt, I decided to modify it into a dress!
I couldn’t find any tutorials for a t-shirt slip dress (regular slip dress in silk or alike material? Sure! But not out of t-shirt material!) so I decided to create my own.
Let me know what you think below and if you are thinking of recreating it yourself!
How have you been my lovelies?
I am back with a new video on how to thrift shop correctly, or in other words: 5 Tips to Thrift Shopping!
Thrift shopping can be really overwhelming when you are not used to it and you have to know what you are looking for before even entering the store or it could mean living in a black hole for hours!
Check out my main tips above and let me know what you think!
We are once again back with Catwalk to Sidewalk, this time for Paris Fashion Week that ended a few days ago! You guys probably know this, Paris is where I live and grew up. It’s always strange to me to think about it as one of the biggest Fashion Capitals in the world as it is simply home to me, but I do have to admit, great designers were born and strived here. Let’s see what these big Fashion Houses came up with this time around!
One of my favorite looks during this Fashion Week hands down; I mean…look at those pants! I have to admit it wasn’t easy finding a pair that was as striking as this one but being a Free People girl at heart, I think these below do the Carven look justice. A perfect casual look that can be worn to the office or for evening drinks with your best girlfriends!
Not including Chanel in a Fashion Week round-up would have simply been impossible. As always, Karl Lagerfeld did a wonderful job with this new collection, always implementing new or up-coming trends to classics like the famous tweed jacket. If you are a fan of the brand, here is how you can recreate this look at home:
Definitely my favorite from Paris Fashion Week. I feel like I could just run in a magical forest with this on or something. When I look at this outfit, a lot of beautiful images from fantasy worlds come to mind. Now, if you will want to recreate this at home, it will require a bit of a DIY. This skirt is a very strong element here and is super unique. The only way I thought this would work would be if rhinestones were carefully glued on top of the skirt to give it that dream-like effect. You should try it!
I love this look for 2 reasons : 1- It’s very simple therefore easy to recreate; 2- Spring 2017 marks the use of colors usually considered like “fall” colors; and Miu Miu definitely showcases that as well as bringing a little classic Spring touch with the shoes. I know we don’t all have Gigi Hadid’s legs but I would definitely try to rock this easy-to-do combo like so:
I could not end Paris Fashion Week without presenting one of Sonia Rykiel’s latest looks. Maybe it is a first name thing, maybe it is my way of paying my respects for this great designer’s passing in August. Regardless, I am completely loving this look that totally reminds me of old Sabrina The Teenage Witch episodes (like this look anyone?). To make what I have found completely match with the look, I would again do a quick DIY. I would cut the top from the neck down in the middle until about halfway, sew black ribbon around the cut and keep some to hang around the neckline, like on the picture!
